Our client’s holiday let had been performing moderately well on various platforms, however over time it became clear that the property was attracting the wrong type of guests & lacked the appeal needed to secure high-quality bookings.
Our brief was to improve the property’s first impression & overall aesthetic.
With a relatively tight budget we introduced a number of carefully selected pieces that complemented & lifted the existing furniture & decor. We introduced soft furnishings in the living & bedrooms, artwork, rugs & lifestyle accessories including faux plants, then dressed the property for a professional photo shoot.
The refresh transformed the space, giving it a high-end feel while maintaining comfort & functionality, aligning with the client’s goal of attracting better quality bookings.
I gave Emma free rein to do as she pleased with the flat, & I cannot tell you just how happy I am with the results. It's as if it's a completely different place.
We lived in California for several years where the staging of homes is not unusual, so when a business associate of ours recommended Emma at Coastal Home Styling to help show our rental property for its upcoming sale, we thought it would be a positive step forward. The property, a period cottage by the sea, was lovely on the outside but a blank slate on the inside. So far, viewings have been very positive with compliments on the turnkey state of the property. We are thrilled with the results and inspired by the marketing of our cottage.
