The owner of this large 4 double bedroom Edwardian property came to us for help as her house had been vacant for a year & had been on the market with no success for some time. The downstairs was a large open plan space which needed zoning & dressing to make it feel more homely & enable potential buyers to see its potential.
The seller was on a tight budget as her money was tied up in the property. She also needed a quick turn around. With this in mind we decided to focus on the entrance, main rooms & outside space rather than dressing the whole property.
Within 3 weeks we had fully furnished & dressed the key rooms & outside space as well as carrying out a paint refresh where required. New photographs & marketing material were produced and the property was relaunched.
The response from potential buyers was very positive – in less than 2 weeks, after receiving quite a bit of interest & a couple of offers the property sold for the asking price. The property sale completed 4 weeks later.
