Staged, Furnished & Dressed To Sell – Vacant property
The owner of this large 4 double bedroom Edwardian property came to me for help as her house had been vacant for a year and had been on the market with no success for some time. The downstairs was a large open plan space which needed zoning and dressing to make it feel more homely and enable potential buyers to see how it could be used.
The seller was on a tight budget as her money was tied up in the property. She also needed a quick turn around. With this in mind we decided to focus on the entrance, main rooms and outside space rather than dressing the whole property.
Within 3 weeks we had furnished and dressed the main rooms and outside space as well as carrying out a paint refresh where needed. New photographs and marketing material were produced and the property was relaunched.
The response from potential buyers was very positive and in less than 2 weeks, after receiving a couple of offers the property sold for the asking price. The property sale completed 4 weeks later.
