Recommended by a local agent, we were commissioned to style & furnish an empty property in Southbourne, to prepare it for the holiday let market. We focused on creating a cohesive, stylish & inviting interior that would appeal to short term renters while maximising the market potential.
We recommended a paint refresh to some of the internal spaces, plus a deep clean, & new window dressings in the rooms.
We produced detailed mood boards tailored to the client’s vision ensuring the design choices aligned with the overall aesthetic. As this was a large project, to stay within budget we resourcefully sourced quality furnishings & decor through a variety of platforms & suppliers.
Each room was fully furnished & dressed with soft furnishings, linens, rugs, lighting, artwork & lifestyle accessories – creating a warm & welcoming environment. The property was carefully styled & prepared for a professional photo shoot & prospective guests.

We lived in California for several years where the staging of homes is not unusual, so when a business associate of ours recommended Emma at Coastal Home Styling to help show our rental property for its upcoming sale, we thought it would be a positive step forward.
